Hi Nik Lampe, if I’m not mistaken the blue on the right is closer than the red because red is preceded by an orange before it reaches red. And for the green shade in between a Yellow and Cyan, if your color is in between two CMY colors, moving to the right will lead you to a darker variation while moving to the left is lighter (which happens in Blue who is in between Cyan and Magenta)— this is something I would like to dive deep in the future articles. But for now, moving towards RGB often results to a darker variation and CMY is for lighter :)
